AAV/tank and Fire Team Lead

There are occasionally posts in the Discord about more control over the AAV or the tank in Objective Virginia.

I'm not interested in making then another member of the fire team and telling them where to fire, where to look etc..

I would, however like to have a wait/move on capability within a limited distance.

For instance I would like to be able to peek under the front of the AAV to check for enemy without it moving up to block my view.

The tank on Objective Virginia makes it especially difficult for the Team Lead to do anything but snipe from buildings on either side of it's current position because it follows so close.

I'd at least like to be able to mark an IED without it following me right to it.

I'm suggesting to have the ability to have a hold/follow choice, with a distance limit, kind of like when you place your AI team in solo.

Once you break that distance limit they move up no matter what.

Maybe the length of a house or two.

Or perhaps a "follow close/follow at distance" command instead.

Either way, something that breaks the "I move a foot, he moves a foot" routine.

Right now the only way I know to make them hold is to put the AI right in front of them, which isn't realistic, or tactically sound.

Added note about the second AAV in Northern Train Station. I realize you have to offset the pathing to get around a used/disabled first AAV, but when it hits the south street, it's still on the outer track and ends up with it's border out of bounds so you can't use it for cover, or resupply from the safe side.

Re: AAV/tank and Fire Team Lead

Understood, I'll let the designers know.

And, this is good feedback for us on the second AAV. Thanks!
