Alternative communications such as a proximity text chat and a radio text chat would be appreciated for those who do not have microphones or those living in louder households.
Implementation of a press-to-talk key for proximity chat would also be appreciated.

i think a voice message menu could work too, like press v key, then press a number key associated with a voice message. i'd stay away from commo rose, those are really slow. numbers option select much faster.

I always thought text to speech would be nice for something like this where you dont really want to read what someone is saying in the moment.
Push to talk for prox would be nice as well. I currently use the mute button on my mic to make sure random noise isn't being broadcast to everyone when I am dead.

Matter of opinion I guess. I would prefer the radial style menu. It could have numbers associated with the options if thats quicker for some people.

....especially true when using a controller on PC and (for people like me) on console where commands need to be bound to a limited number of inputs.
