Console versions

Hi guys, I have a question, I own a ps4 pro and xbox, I wanted to know if the game only comes out for the new generation or even for the old one, as I am not sure to buy it digitally, due to the controversy and therefore my license of purchase is revoked.
If so, is the experience also enjoyable for older generations?

According to the FAQ, the game is planned for both current and next-generation consoles from Sony and Microsoft, alongside PC.
