FOB Lobby

Someone mentioned on discord something I really thought sounded immersive and fitting for the game. Instead of the main menu, a FOB that fills with your premade lobby or potentially other randoms each time you start the game that has different locations around it where you start fireteam missions, campaign or operator missions. It could double as the training range perhaps as well. In this area you walk around in first person and interact with different AI in order to select game modes, watch videos, etc, and you are able to bypass the need for a basic main menu like every other game Set yourself apart and have a very high quality experience from the moment the game launches. This could also be a location you could potentially use to change your soldiers looks in if a feature like this ever came to the game, as well as socialize/plan with your group for the next mission, eventually boarding an IFV or heli or something to move out. It sounded pretty cool and I thought I would put it here.

This could even be Camp Fallujah itself.

As cool as that all would be, I feel like the game would have had to be built around that concept and would be hard to retrofit.

Nah they could definitely do this. In fact I think they should focus on other things first and do it later, intentionally.

I think this an amazing idea, and it's possible using the engine they're in. But I'd say in of course my own opinion they do it next roadmap. This way it gives them time to add plenty of content, iron a lot of bugs, and add QoL features the community is together asking for. The one thing I'd add with out trying to sound to ego stroking is how great it is to see developers really engaged with the community looking to refine and continue large development on an already well delivered/received game.
