Shouldn't the M16 have some cut outs in order to fit the M203, I saw other people suggest this, but I don't think it's been changed yet.

Thanks for the reference. Our M203 is mounted to the bottom rail of the M16 with a gap that isn't as big. There were a few ways to mount these, and adjustments were made in relation to other variations of our M16s.

I think the image of the Marine you posted is using a different rail system that is used on the weapons that are being utilized in the game.
