Game Crash Workaround

The last update cleared up my crash problems entirely but not my friend's. He was not able to play the game at all due to crashing. I asked Gemini AI for any suggestions. And its first suggestion did the trick. He suggested launching the game from your Steam library with the parameter -noraytracing. My friend did this and now he never crashes. Keep in mind that I have an Nvidia graphics card and he has an AMD one.
