Building Generation

Hello,
I have personally done research on procedural generation topics for landscapes with noise maps and Town Generation with TensorFields. But I found there is barely any widespread methods on building generation out there.
Next to Shadows Of Doubt, SDIF is, to my attention, the only modern game that takes on that kind procedural generation. Shadows Of Doubt is however mainly concentrating on generating interiors of preset buildings in a grid system which results in very samey locations.

So I was wondering if there was any chance of the team sharing a bit of technical information on the building generation used in SDIF as it looked and felt amazing so far.
