Actions not available when ADS

When you're aiming down the sight, some game actions are not available to you. For example, you can't breach nor can you switch weapons.There are probably other actions that I'm simply forgetting. I've never run into this behavior in a game before and I am constantly button-mashing trying to get actions such as these to work while I'm aiming down the sight.

My suggestion is to allow these types of actions when ADS simply because there is no real-life reason to force us to remember to lower our weapon before attempting such an action. It's what a soldier would naturally do. For example...if I approach a door while ADS and then want to breach, simply show the animation where the soldier lowers his weapon and then have him perform the breach. This is something I run into all the time and, FWIW, my mates concur with this.

Is anyone else frustrated by this?

Of course, we're trying to trim down our list of bugs, but I'm curious on the wider community's take on this one.

No one I mean no one breeches while ADS this is just stupid, however I feel transitions to secondary should be a thing because it is in real life even when ADS. The only actions I can see while ADS is transitions to another weapon i.e. secondary up to point position not automatic ADS or nades/smoke which puts away your primary. and lights on/off, rate of fire switch other than that no vaulting full sprinting or bandaging.

Not sure where these ideas some people come up with other than other arcade planforms.

I don't think I'll get much consensus on this but as I said, I've never encountered this in a game before. It feels more like an oversight than something that was put in the game to make it better.

I think at least we could change weapons while we're aiming. I mean, there's nothing to prevent this happen and it's a little frustate since we have it in other games. So I think we're all used to. I agree with OP.

I think we should be allowed to start run when it's using over the sight too. I mean, not running and aiming, but stop aiming and start to run without exit from over the sight position.

I have no hands-on experience with the game (PS5) but having watched many videos and understanding the mechanics being discussed, I would typically lean on the side of authenticity / real world scenarios.

Maintaining ADS while breeching shouldn't be a thing IMO if that's what they meant. Now, if the OP is talking about your character automatically standing down from ADS and then allowing them to breach with the push of a button, I get that but transitions are important IMO to relay that sense of reality and drive home the importance of working as a team, communication, coordination, etc.

Having one breach while others stack up for example, tossing a frag, covering, making entry, etc.
