Is this going to be linear?

Is it going to be linear or will we be able to explore the map?

With this question in mind, I also wonder how big the map(s) will be. As we were told that we would be jumping to different units per mission, I was left wondering if we are able to go all over the town, or if it's just 1 large section of the city.

Re: Is this going to be linear?

That depends on you definition of linear. The campaign appears to be split into missions that each tell an individual story, so its linear in the sense that it has levels like a regular FPS. However, each level is randomly generated at the start and every time you die, so each mission is different every playthrough, so its not linear in that you will complete each level the same way every time.

There is no indication that this is an open world game.

That's what I think based on the info I've seen at least, if anyone else knows better feel free to correct me.

Six Days is not linear as players are given an “Area of Operation” and are free to move around freely within the AO. We believe it is essential to consider the best approach to a target, rather than following a linear path that might seem more obvious on the surface.
