This game is dead

I'm sorry, but the delays during the initial development of the game that made sense were related to procedural generation. Now that that has been completed, the lack of updates for this game has been shocking. The lie that was sold to the supporters was that development would move quickly after finishing procedural generation. However, it's been years without a meaningful update. No new campaign missions as promised, no other missions that were promised, and no special operations missions as promised. I'm pretty sure the creators of this game took the money from early access—intended to help fund the project—and used it for vacations and luxury items, without delivering even a tenth of what was promised. They also say an update is coming in the spring, but I guarantee it will just be bug fixes, some new audio, and minor AI tweaks—nothing meaningful to fulfill what was promised. If I could get a refund, I would tell everyone to avoid this game because it is a disgrace for the story of the men who fought in Fallujah to be represented by this lying studio.

Re: This game is dead

Hey Dague,

We hit some technical hurdles when trying to incorporate Fireteam AI into procedural environments. It's true that it's slowed us down, and we've refactored many foundational systems with a series of quality updates over the last few releases (more than we initially planned).

We'll be sharing a series of developer diaries leading up to our next major content update in the spring, which brings the first stages our of progression system, new weapons, and some extras.

Not dead. In development. EA is still EA. When 1.0 hits, and we see 77 players, then you can call it dead.

I still have hope this game will be FUN and great.

Are the Special Operators missions still
planned ?
Will we be able to play as a Navy SEAL ?
It would be great.

Operator missions are planned, with players assuming the role of those who carried out missions specific to the battle.

Thank you for the answer 👍🏻

Our (my friends and I) lineup is Ground Branch, Ready or Not and Six Days. The first two are gathering dust. All we play is Six Days simply because of the non-stop adrenaline rush. We go through steaks where we don't get a single point for many sessions and then we catch fire and win 3 missions in a row. It's a great feeling of accomplishment!

We don't play Squad because it's not for casual co-op play even though it now has co-op.

Can't wait for some new Six Days missions!
