So this is going to be long winded so I apologize but feel it needs to be said as I’m passionate about these things. I’m a huge fan of FPS games and have been for many years, especially being able to play solo or using ai teammates and had huge hope for your game but so far Its left me feeling a little bit disappointed lets just say. Some of my favorite FPS games have been the likes of Operation Flashpoint, The Far Cry Games, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Ready or Not, Dayz and recently Easy Red 11. Now while none of these games are perfect in any way, what they do is give me enough freedom and balance of making it feel as real as possible, something your game falls way short or I’m afraid to say. Though there are many things I love about what you are trying to accomplish you need to do more about how the player actually feels whilst in the game.
So few pros and cons!
I really love the visuals and sound of this game, I would say second to none. The way the sound makes you feel, it’s as if you were to close your eyes you could be there for real! but then you here the roar of overhead A10’s and F16 jets flying over the rooftops but nothing in the sky! You hear guns blazing left right and center yet don’t see a single sole anywhere in the distance. It’s like I’m the only person in Fallujah with 3 other guys and a few insurgents when you get to there building. Speaking of the AI teammates, controls are very, clunky, half the time your direction just goes ignored or they just don’t move or don’t go where I ask them to go, also very limited commands . Look, when I was playing the game solo before you added the teammates i was loving the feeling of being shit scared cowering in a corner! Granted, hated the time limits and the fact they were all Jedi masters and always seemed to know where I was hiding all the time, but it was the feeling of realism that I loved!
So here are just a few ideas I feel you need to work on to bring that feeling back. These are all traits that other games use and utilize that add to making there games feel more real.
First off making the map area of freedom larger so if I want to go more than a block or two I can without seeing the silly star wall and told I can't go there! Also I should be able to jump over anything I could in real life, jump on a car hood or table for example, get rid of the silly vault over symbol, just make it that you can jump over stuff! I should also be able to go prone! I should also be able to crawl as well as close doors behind me so I can hear if someone coming up behind me. Not just that though, these are the little things that all adds to the immersion, something as simple as not being able to close a door just kills all the hard work you’ve put into this game! As does being on a roof top whilst planes are buzzing overhead, guns are going off everywhere but the hole map is basically empty! I want to be able to see other team of soldiers in the distance fighting other insurgents and have the ability to engage if I feel it relevant. Give me the choice how I deal with each situation instead of you pushing me into what you either feel I should be doing or the direction you want me to go in, if you going to make it linear we might as well play COD! If I kill a bad guy or my team mate is killed I should be able to pick there weapons up if I feel I want to, there the things that make it feel real, there the choices you give me to make on my own. You should get you team to play the games I mentioned at the beginning, then you will understand where I’m coming from and what it’s like to give the illusion at least that im making my own decisions, with no silly restrictions and what it’s like to be in a video game but still feel your making life or death decisions but in a real as you can make it environment. And I know that once you get into a building or room that’s when your game comes into it’s own, I’m not kicking that because that’s amazing, as is the regenerative maps, but it’s the overall atmosphere that’s so missing, the map area needs to feel alive and just feels dead. Like I said, sometimes just something as simple as seeing people in the streets from afar, being able to open and close a door, shoot a can or bottle or climb over or under something that you know you could in reality can make a game feel so much more real and immersive, something this game needs big time, especially to give it the credit it deserves. Thanks for reading.

Thanks for taking the time to leave this feedback for us, and welcome to the forums!
Some notes:
Some notes:
- I've made notes for improving ambient environmental activity, as well as responsiveness of the Marine AI.
- We don't have any plans right now to include jumping (as Marines carried hundreds of pounds of equipment on their backs), but I'll let the team know.
- Prone is currently planned, but I'll forward this to the team.
- We don't allow players to close doors as doors are usually breached and urban house-clearing is progressive (not regressive).
