If the full release keeps the narrated interviews as is (it should) I would suggest having it not be part of campaign and tell the story in real time during the Campaign - try to bring the reality home for the player through the story and action - so that they can get a taste of what it would be like as an actual soldier in the battles at hand.
I would then use the current content to really add some punch to either specific missions that could be undertaken in a fireteam setting - or during training. That way more content comes from training aside from the basic "aim, shoot, learn" and also their words and thoughts can still play a vital role in showing what happened during the six days.
