The M16A2 was almost entirely out of service by the time of the Battle of Fallujah, and most US forces used the M4A1 or less commonly, the M16A4.
You can tell that the M16 in the trailer is the A2 variant because of the butterflying on the iron sights and fixed buttstock. An M16A4 has a Picatinny rail and a removable handle on top, as well as a hand guard and being capable of either single shot or burst fire.
Suggestion: replace the M16A2 with the M4A1 or the M16A4

The weapon featured in the IGN video is an M16A4.

Yeah the model in the trailer is an A4. It has the RIS rail with rail covers, and a removable carry handle, although the carry handle is missing the knobs that tighten it down to the upper reciever, but something tells me they arent done with the model just yet lol

The M16A4 was actually the most common rifle used by Marines in Fallujah. Both the A2 and A4 varient fire in single shot or burst fire and both have fixed stocks. The M4 was used by some Marines in the battle, but it was less common. The A2 wasn't completely out of service and you can find pics of Marines still using them in Iraq, but they also weren't common during the battle fo Fallujah.
