Last Known Position mechanic.
Enemies losing sight of the playable character when turning a corner would be great, I feel this enhances authenticity and I'm surprised most games don't feature that, I know the Uncharted games have it.

Fully agree with this, this is something that always annoyed me in games since I always found it stupid if once the enemies see you they no longer forget were you are.

While we are using both vision and hearing to inform enemy AI about player location, they won’t forget about you simply because you hid in a corner. They also won’t magically know where you are all the time. They have a more realistic "awareness" in Six Days. And, fireteam tactics are critical to overcoming this awareness. We’re excited to dive deeper into this in our upcoming SITREP.
