Getting on Roofs

What are the options to get on roofs in Six Days? If any? There are a lot of possibilities to get on a buildings roof and according to the Marine's Military Operations on Urbanizsed Terrain Marines are supposed to never enter a building through the door.

So can we enter from the roof?

For one there are Ladders, Pipes and other ways like that to climb atop a building but also-- Grappling Hooks. Are Grappling Hooks going to be in the game? They could be really useful in breaching buildings and they could be used on windows too.

From what i've seen some of the houses have wooden "planks" that connect their roofs likely from insurgents. So Theoretically if the player is capable of walking on those you could get on to a roof and enter a house from said roof. But that's only if it's possible.

Yes, players will be able to climb to rooftops. A core piece of our experience is finding alternate ways of entering a building and choosing whether to clear from bottom-up or top-down. There will not be grappling hooks, however, since we haven’t encountered stories of these being used broadly during the battle.

Yes, this is absolutely possible. Players can cross between some buildings with wooden planks (which get randomized each time the game is played).
