While changing classes in Wargames, the icons have become problematic.
Not sure how long ago it started, but they used to work properly and immediately, now they hang, don't update for 30 seconds or so across all the players or immediately revert when trying to make a selection.
We've had times where all four members see different things, quite often we'll see duplicates, (for instance two or three Assists) but upon spawning in we have only one of each.
On another note about selection, there are also occasionally time, in both Wargame and Fireteam mode, where we spawn in and everyone's roles have been switched around. Most common on PLH, NTS not quite as often. For instance, I'm Team Lead by rank or by choice, depending on mode, but will unexpectedly load in as Fire, or Assist.

Does this problem persist between games? I recommend completely restarting the lobby and trying again.
If this continues, would you mind sharing a video with us? This would be especially helpful for the issue you're describing about loading in as the wrong role.

For the icons, it does persist, and restarting doesn't change it.
For the spawning in different roles in Fireteam that happens fairly seldom, but I'll try and pull a replay if/when it does.

Lol, had an interesting twist on the role loading last night.
We had been in Wargames, did a match or two set to Exclusive, so we could all have a SAW.
One member dropped out, so we went to Fireteam, and started a random match.
We all four (including the new guy who hadn't been in the previous Wargames session) spawned in with the SAW.

We were in Wargames, set to Exclusive so we could all carry SAW's for the fun of it.
One guy left, so I clicked on Fireteam, then Matchmaking.
Got a new 4th guy and hit Start.
Spawned in and made the capture when we "saw" what had happened. (groan!)
Don't think it's a problem, never saw it before. Of course, it was the first time I'd ever used Exclusive, too.
Just thought it was funny and wanted to share it.
One guy left, so I clicked on Fireteam, then Matchmaking.
Got a new 4th guy and hit Start.
Spawned in and made the capture when we "saw" what had happened. (groan!)
