About the bullets
About the bullets
I found that when the player aimed at shooting with a rear sight or scope, the bullets were fired from the center of the screen, and when no sight was used or only the front sight was used, the bullets were fired from the barrel. This results in bullets being fired from behind cover without being obscured during normal aiming. As a realistic game, should bullets be fired from the barrel of a gun in any situation?

Re: About the bullets
Thanks for calling this out, ryan.
Our implementation of point-shooting versus ADS is a balancing act. We wanted to try something new with bullets firing from the barrel, but there's an expectation in the genre that bullets will fire center-screen when scoped. If we matched this to the barrel, we'd likely get complaints our scopes are broken.
Does anyone else have thoughts on this?

Re: About the bullets
Well, I posted this question because I made a test video about the ballistics of this game and posted it to the video platform, and there were viewer comments that were not happy with this detail. I think he is also a player of ARMA or other hardcore games. I think that's a point of view, and I'm certainly a supporter of this detail. At the same time, there is another point of view that says it doesn't matter, as you say the game is meant to be accessible to more people. Now the debate has settled.

Re: About the bullets
This is a game and game needs to think in balance between a lot of factors. This would only add a unnecessary frustration/learn curve.. Just my opinion, since it was requested.AmperCamper wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 8:34 am Thanks for calling this out, ryan.

Re: About the bullets
Would it be possible this game add low ready and ready rather than the character being in low ready when not aiming? The ability of point shooting should be possible for suppressive fire. I think that would make the game more balanced and allow more freedom for the player.
