Re: Flipping the LAV using a smoke grenade

Only difference here is that it happened on the far back corner, instead of the usual first corner. Seen this a couple times, but only got one decent pic.

Thanks for the additional reports here, all. I'll get these to the team.

Re: Flipping the LAV using a smoke grenade

Had one interesting one today, but didn't get pics:

During a solo Northern Train Station in Wargames.

AAV turned around halfway down the east side,. (Facing south to facing north. I ran north just to see if would follow back to start point, it did not.)

It then got stuck on a blue barrel when it tried to turn south again. (Just for giggles I tried to 40mm the barrel out from under, but that disabled the AAV, lol)

Re: Flipping the LAV using a smoke grenade

Sometimes it takes so little to jam up those treads...

Two different incidents shown.

Re: Flipping the AAV using a smoke grenade (and other oddities)

I'll stick this here since it started as an AAV thread.

Occasionally it picks an odd time to "turn around" and quite often ends up stuck. It's still the tracks getting bound on ground clutter or running into a barrier, as shown in previous posts.

Quite often, no matter how it gets stuck, you can't resupply ammo or get reinforcements, it's locked into the animation even though it can't move.

And then there was this where it tried to turn around at the southwest corner during a Jolan Park mission, then got stuck. After a few minutes we got the ability to reinforce back but it deposited the Marine (avatar) into ground objects, (cinder blocks and oil barrels) and he was frozen in place, able to turn around and point, but nothing beyond that. Pic attached.

Thanks for all the updates to this thread. I'll get your additions to the team, teeth.

Live view of it stuck at Jolan Park and costing us two reinforcements and ammo reload.

I know it's an old thread and you're well aware of the problem, but this time it was rocking in a way we've not seen before, so adding to the volume of evidence.
