Please release early access for consoles.
Please release early access for consoles.
There’s controller support on PC. Devs, what gives? You’re shutting out a huge portion of your potential customers.

Re: Please release early access for consoles.
Thanks for voicing your concerns on this.
Frankly, consoles aren't ready yet. There's more work to be done before we consider doing anything related to console Early Access. There have been a few suggestions about Xbox Game Preview, and we're open to this down the road.

Re: Please release early access for consoles.
It's not as simple as controller support. Frankly, contrary to popular belief... it's not as simple as making the game for both platforms. Consoles have a lot of restrictions on how games are developed. Assets need to be re-optimized when being converted to a console due to hardware and software limitations. Also, this game is in Early-Release. That means the game isn't officially out yet. We are essentially doing a large-scale play test prior to full release. As Amper has stated, the console version can be expected next year.

.....XBox has their Game Preview as Amper mentioned. The game can at least be released on that platform during EA. Sadly, PS doesn't offer such a program so those like me on PS5 will have to wait.
As for what's easier to develop games for (starting from scratch), I'd say consoles are arguably the easier of the two. With PC, you're dealing with many more variables given the variety of hardware combinations, etc. On console, you're working within a very narrow set of parameters. Obviously, there are differences between XB and PS as well as generations (PS4 vs PS5 and so on), but that's it. The hardware is the same for each PS5 consumer, PS4, XB1 ,etc. Obviously there are other factors to consider too though.
