Currently, I don't believe there is a way to tell what firemode you are currently on aside from firing your weapon.
I believe implementing a keybind, (like holding down the firemode key) to display what your current firemode is would be useful.
This may already be implemented, I apologize if it is.
Firemode Prompt
Re: Firemode Prompt
You can check what fire mode you are in by looking at the center of the screen. If it is a single dot single fire, if it is 3 dots burst or auto.
But I do agree there should be a bigger indicator, because those dots are quite difficult to spot

If you're like myself and other and have crosshair off, it won't display. I'd be down for audio indication, with an icon hiding in hud. However, people with no hud would suffer, if swivel for the head was added you could look down and see the selector switch in the correct position. I could also see that when you hit it, maybe your guy does a 1 sec glance downward to verify. Either of these would be good for those playing without visuals.

Yeah, this. Don't like crosshair in games when it useless (since you're not shooting where the cross is). So I need to shoot and spent bullets to know what firemode i'm using. We need a feedback.StrixBit wrote: ↑Sun Jun 25, 2023 9:09 pm If you're like myself and other and have crosshair off, it won't display. I'd be down for audio indication, with an icon hiding in hud. Re: Firemode Prompt
I usually press the "check magazine" option to see the position of the fire selector on the M16.
I'ts stupid, I know... but it's the only way I have to check it (I play without crosshair).
