LOTS OF POTENTIAL

Let me just start by saying I am enamored with the whole Fallujah setting. I was 8 years old at the time of the battle but I had become obsessed with it in my pre-teen years and I think helped steer me further into enlisting into the Marine Corps out of high-school. Now I love the game a lot but I think there is a lot missing from the game. For me it's okay because I had a fascination with the battle and then joining the Marine Corps years later helped make my purchase feel worth it.

Now I will go straight into the cons as I will not be listing pros because I feel like I'll sound like a broken record, but in short you guys know what you did great on. Also, these are just my personal opinions. I have no game developer experience so I get there are limitations. Just from my perspective as a mil sim gamer these are things I would like to see implemented in the future if possible.

- Firstly, and most importantly we should have an ability to select preferred classes. I think the simplest way would be to allow whoever is the highest rank to have the most weight on their vote to preferred classes. So, to further explain this point there are some games where for example you can have a preferred color insignia however if 2 members select the same color one person is bound not to get it. So while waiting in lobby I think you should have the option to select 1-4 on your preference for classes. ex) 1. Squad Leader, 2. Saw Gunner, 3. Breacher, 4. Rifleman. Then with that selection my votes will be weighed against the others preferences to have more control of role selection. Plus, it gives players the opportunity to try out different roles at will.
- Secondly, I think we should have time of day selections with weather settings. (Levels of dust storms)
- Thirdly, I think there should be time parameters for mission length.
- Fourth, add a parameter set where you can select approximate insurgent numbers with a side parameter of how veteran they are. I would love to have a more hardcore enemy to face (when I have a good team that is) because when you get a team that shoot moves and communicates along with proper weapon utilization the game actually feels easy. Also, there are people who aren't going to have enough of a reaction time or be able to sustain long combat so I think perhaps it would be better for those players to have an easier experience to get into the game. Or don't the dark souls approach worked for fromsoftware so I don't see why it wouldn't here.
- Fifth, a server browser. Players DC maybe a third of the time after playing a few matches it would be nice to have the ability to get back the buddy you learned how to play with rather than having no control by being hosted client side.
- Sixth, a parameter set to extend the map grid to include more buildings.

Re: LOTS OF POTENTIAL

Thanks for joining the forums, Jimmy!

Yes, #1, #3, and #6 are already noted as a community suggestions. I'll be sure to add #4 to the list. We did just increase the timers on Apartments and Compound in our latest patch.

As for #2, this is already planned for Q3-2023. Please see our roadmap!

For #5, we've heard the call for dedicated servers which could allow for these, but we need a better grasp of how many players will be playing before allocating resources to this idea.

Re: LOTS OF POTENTIAL

Glad to be a part of the community. Even more glad to see how much you guys care about the game and plan to do with it. I don't think I've seen a dev team dedicated to responding to players and content creators so swiftly and addressing issues. You guys are quickly establishing yourselves as the gold standard in the gaming industry!
