Picking up insurgent weapons

So after I re-read the SITREP on Insurgent weapons, I'm wondering if you guys have come to decide If players could pick up Insurgent weapons, and use them in combat.

Thanks for checking up on this.

We don't have immediate plans to support picking up Insurgent weapons, despite there being the exception you shared. It was simply too uncommon from the stories that have been shared with us. And, using these weapons could lead to a series of mishaps (the worst case being friendly fire).

We may find a clever way to integrate this later, but this is the plan for now.
