Alpha / beta testing
Alpha / beta testing
It may have been asked already and answered but will there be a alpha or beta phase for us to try before the full release
Re: Alpha / beta testing
Hello, currently they are planning to be hosting a series of beta tests to eliminate bugs and incorporate feedback. We'll get updated as soon as they have these dates finalized.

You can follow them on social media for big news drops (e.g. Victura on Twitter) and/or just drop by here from time to time like most of us do to catch up on what news there is, answers to questions, feedback/discussions, etc. They regularly engage with the community here which is refreshing.

Welcome to the forums!
This is correct. Appreciate it, Karma.
Thanks, too, for the callout Kean!Kean_1 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 7:51 am You can follow them on social media for big news drops (e.g. Victura on Twitter) and/or just drop by here from time to time like most of us do to catch up on what news there is, answers to questions, feedback/discussions, etc. They regularly engage with the community here which is refreshing.
Re: Alpha / beta testing
Would love to participate in some early Alphas, even if they’re closed and require an NDA. Been there with a few other hardcore indie shooters and those games change a lot during that period, sometimes the Alpha experience feels completely different to what ends up being released, and from the footage we’ve seen SDIF is definitely ready to go into initial Alphas. Not to mention how helpful player feedback could be for developers when making major design decisions early on, laying a solid foundation is key in making a game enjoyable.

As soon as I have more on testing, I'll be sure to let you folks know. In the meantime, we're very keen on incorporating feedback from our various channels (especially here on the forums) into our development. Community comments have already influenced major design decisions, as we believe development is a two-way street.optimise wrote: ↑Thu Mar 02, 2023 2:57 am Would love to participate in some early Alphas, even if they’re closed and require an NDA.
