SDIF Updates

Is there going to be more content being released in preparation to the Q4 release? What type of marketing will be targeted moving forward?

What can be done to help spread awareness for SDIF when these updates come out to the community, and what form will these announcements be?

This game from the trailer looks amazing, but there is still a lot of questions about the gameplay.

Will there be co-op, and what will this look like in game? Will there also be different difficulties to the game for different levels of experience for everyone to experience? Or will this be a hard-core realistic mil-sim?

Will enemies when in a firefight run out of ammunition if the engagement lasts for a while. Will there also be re-supply points within the map for when running low on ammo, or will there be other ways to get more ammunition?

Are the squads set like a normal Infantry Squad or will players get to run the squad the way they want to?

Just some questions for this, I am sure there is already a great plan in motion for this. Just wondering how much of this can be answered!

As far as resupply for yourself, there will be LAVs that you can resupply from.

The "squad" is actually a fireteam (4 Marines). I doubt you'll be able to customize them but that's not a concern for me.

These are the questions I can answer from other posts on the forums. As for the rest, I'm not sure.

Co-op is very high on our priority list for our marketing plans. This topic has raised the most questions, by far, and we want to not only answer these but also show exactly what co-op in a team-based tactical shooter looks like. This is one of the pieces we have planned ahead of release.

We're also working with a variety of creators in preparation for launch. While things are quiet now with these guys on standby, we want to ensure the internet can't take two steps without hearing about SDIF.

Four players act as a fireteam, and we plan to grow the player sizes over time. We have one difficulty planned as there is only one experience we're aiming for. We can get as close as possible to the experience of those who were actually there.

Roles are determined by the mission in the single player campaign, and there is more flexibility on this in co-op. The Go Command can be used in both modes to help coordinate squads.

Ammunition can be restocked at LAVs. As for enemies, this is a good question. I'll circle back to the team on this.

As for our community, we always look to you guys for feedback to make sure we're on the right track. And when we aren't, please let us know. There has been a clear call for more gameplay from us, and we hear you on this. Keep pushing us in the right direction, and SDIF will be the game we hope it can be.

The more accurate to an actual fire team this game plays, I believe the better it will be received. From all the hours the development team has put into getting stories from actual Marines and people during the battle.

Even with all the controversy that people are bringing up, I have high hopes that people are ready for a realistic gameplay/and associated stories. This game could help pave the way for true war story FPS game in the future.

The more accurate this game depicts the combat that actually happened to help with the immersion will help better this game. That’s something I am looking forward to seeing.

Has there been confirmation of what server this game is using? Or is this a fluid product with the release of Unreal 5 and the multiple platforms that the game will be released on?

We're excited for you guys to see more! We believe there's nothing on the market quite like our project.

We're running on a heavily modified version of Unreal Engine 4 that was tweaked to support our Procedural Architecture system.

Assuming the game does well financially do you think you guys could remaster it for unreal engine 5 in a few years?
