They have not said anything about a delay. The updates usually come in the end of the quarter though. So I wouldn't expect anything till second week of June at earliest. That's just my guess.

Nothing new to report in this area (at least not yet). We're very hard at work on the friendly Marine AI feature.

Although that's a very different (still awesome though) game, maybe check out Ready Or Not for inspiration, it's got a pretty in depth /slick squad command system.
I think you get expanded AI squad control mods on Arma 3, fanciest I've seen is voice integration where you can issue commands hands-free, though Arma AI is more comedy than tactical, lol.
