Sorry man, with all due respect it’s been years of delays and excuses, while people on pc enjoy the game. Most of the people interested in this game waiting for decades will be grandparents or dead by the time this hits console.

I just can’t justify defending how slow this has been anymore.
Understood, and we agree it's been slower than we'd like. But, we don't want to put the game on consoles before ironing our the kinks in the PC version (as well as improving the content catalogue). Admittedly, this would slow development across all platforms even more so.

Re: PS5 Pro Enhanced?

I remember being ridiculed here back in 2023 when I said it would be well over 3 years before console launch. Looks like I'm right, and could be longer. The game has been mishandled for a long time. The pc player base is all but dead and you committed to it despite all the competition and much better quality of rivals, instead of getting resources into the console version to get more players onboard on a platform that had been crying out for a game like this and all that hype has long gone and other games releasing to fill the gap you guys missed. Id be asking serious questions in-house if I was in the team about decisions which has set the game back and lost a lot of money

I understand that not wanting to put an actual date for the release on consoles in order to avoid promises that won’t be fulfilled. I guess my question at this point is with all the patches that come out for PC including new missions, bug fixes, etc. What is the major hold up with the console release? I’ve been following the development for the last few years and it’s seeming to be the same answer year after year now about the console version. I personally, can’t speak for everyone, would be at least more understanding if it was a definitive answer as to why the console version hasn’t even gotten a release like the PC version did when it’s been over 2 years it really is starting to feel like I : S. I get it that set backs happen and everything but unfortunately Crunchie has been right for the most part. Everyone is seemingly throwing everything into the PC version and console players are just supposed to sit quietly and get it when they get it.

The console version isn't released yet because the PC version isn't finished. Consoles have always been slated for our full release out of Early Access (or 1.0). There's more we'd like to add to the content catalogue before releasing the console version for everyone.
