Re: Optimization

Performance will depend on whether you are a host or client. When hosting, our target for your machine is 60 fps, although it’s possible you could average slightly lower than this until we complete all our optimizations over time. As a client, frames should consistently be over 60 fps. We doubt you...

Re: Spent Casings

As long as the impact is minimal, I guess
going all the way to the maximum is preferable but ideally I'd want my game to run fine so I'm perfectly fine with a mix of the two.

Re: Hello Forum posters!

All good responses here, eventually videogame makers are going to have to realize if they want to keep being high-tech toy makers or if they want to keep pushing the boundaries and venture into unknown territory, just as Peter Tamte said.

Re: Optimization

Great input munch, yeah I feel like optimization has been forgotten about in recent tactical shooters, this is going to be a hot take from me, but I hope the game doesn't include Raytracing, similar to Atomic Heart one which is super easy to run, even on my ancient RTX 2060 and i7 8700 coupled with ...

Re: My Own Animation

I knew a guy during Highschool that loved doing Yoji Shinkawa style drawings (Metal Gear concept art) he was a huge fan of him back in the day, I still remember he was hyped for SDIF in 2009 after finishing MGS4 and was eager to draw a squad of Marines in that style to show appreciation for Six Days...

Re: Single player showcase?

Yeah the bad thing about consoles is that late in the gen if youre playing current games on last gen hardware you're gonna have a rough time, been playing RE4 2023 and the experience was, like say not as smooth as it could be, on PC you can always lower down some settings to make the experience bett...

It's astonishing how close the architecture in these pictures look compared to the real thing, with several buildings intact of shelling.

Re: Possible Solution for Development Update Communication

I feel like that would be great, honestly, certainly better than having an all-out radio silence. The main problem for the fans as a whole is that they haven't seen enough of the game in action, but just having progress notifications would help players to notice them about the state of the game, and...

Re: Concerning the March 7th update from the CEO

It's nice that the devs are making progress behind the scenes, though I must admit it also became an habit of mine to constantly check the forum every day since the announcement came up, they'll tackle this project step by step, there's no other way to put it, but I also feel it will be worth it by ...

Re: Larger scale battles

We all are eager to know more about 6 Days, and it's understandable that some are frustrated by the lack of news, making this ambicious project takes up a lot of time, the devs also are constantly learning philosophies and methods and figuring out how to apply them to game concepts which is not an e...
