Re: Documentary / Cutscenes
The interaction between documentary and gameplay varies between missions. When playing through the campaign, players will experience a mix of a few things that are relative to the specific mission at hand: short documentary-like video segments, in-game cinematic sequences, and audio-only clips. Thes...

Re: SITREP: Audio Design
Is the sounds of gun fire going to sound drastically different with shooting outside of the house vs inside of the house? Has the team been using real weapons such as the M16/ M4's, SAW's, etc to get authentic rifle sounds for the audio that is being put into the game? The audio sounds immersive an...

Re: New memeber and a question
Hey red, welcome to the forums! Yes, a bunch of these have been asked but to recap: We have no news on adversarial multiplayer right now. We are very focused on our single player, narrative campaign and cooperative multiplayer components. As far as combat goes, you can expect location-specific blood...

Re: Getting on Roofs
Yes, players will be able to climb to rooftops. A core piece of our experience is finding alternate ways of entering a building and choosing whether to clear from bottom-up or top-down. There will not be grappling hooks, however, since we haven’t encountered stories of these being used broadly durin...

Re: Destructible environment.
Sorry I missed this, Karma. Initially, most of the destruction will be limited to smaller props but we’ll expand this capability over time. While there will be some occasional lights you can shoot out, we haven’t put a lot of energy into this because most of the electricity in the city was out. And,...

Re: Frame rate on PS4?
It's difficult to say right now as many performance optimizations happen during the closing stages of development. Our target is 60 fps (with lower graphics quality), but we won’t know for sure until much later.

Re: SITREP: Audio Design
Marvelous! I got immediately immersed by the audio, especially when the grenade set off. Although the videos look fairly buggy, are these old footages? I am hoping so since we are very close to launch, though it does say pre alpha footage. Despite all that, I commend you as the team for taking the ...

Re: Suggestion for gunshot audio
Thanks for the feedback on this, Trees. I'm about to jump into more SITREP feedback today, too. We have varying accounts on what bullets sounded like going past the subject. Some say it whizzes without a crack, some say it cracks without a whiz, and some say it's both. As far as physics goes, supers...
