Thanks for all the comments on this, everyone. We identified and fixed one potential cause of this with 0.1.4.2, but there's still some more investigating for us here. This has escalated to one of our Known Issues.

Team Leads can already open the map and place a pin for the entire fireteam to see.

As for improving our marker system, I'll add this to the community wishlist. Thanks!

To clarify, you'd like to see an additional option that allows players to swap between hold and toggle in real-time (without going into the settings)?

Great question. Without giving away too much under the hood: Spawns are determined when the map is rolled. We do not infinitely spawn AI or move them to try and flank players. If you're commenting about AI spawning behind you, it's actually an enemy that has pushed through your line and legitimately...
