Re: Few questions for the devs
I'll answer what I can for now! We're aiming to be the most authentic shooter to date, and so we draw influence from a variety of different places. At the forefront are the stories from those who were in the battle. Because our core features haven’t been part of other shooters so far, it’s difficul...

Re: Question about the appearance of the gear.
I absolutely missed this, that one of the screenshots was changed, in that two Marines are wearing different gear now. One of them now has gear straps, and the other's vest camo changed from the coyote tan to the woodland. I want everybody else to notice something is being done, and I think we've al...

Re: Question about the appearance of the gear.
This is feedback we've heard before, and we appreciate it. While all character art is still a work in progress, our vests are modeled after the Point Blank Interceptor with Coyote Tan and Woodland Camo used by different units. There were other types of plate carriers and vests worn in the battle, a...

Re: Helmets don't quite look right?
Weren't the Marines and Soldiers in early Iraq rocking the interceptor flak vests? I agree for a game being promoted as being historically accurate it should include that, rather than the newer modular tactical vests. The proportions look a bit bit off when compared to the original. I just had to pi...

Re: Reloads, round management, and weapon malfunction
Just so you're aware, the weapon jamming system will be in it, as it was confirmed by Cpt. Read Omohundro and Peter Tamte in an interview with a podcast studio surrounded around military pop culture. Amper is just asking us how much of it would we want, as too much could easily drive away the avera...

Missions from the original to stay the same despite procedural architecture?
Using a former Atomic Games developer's pacing chart for the original SDIF, I notice that not all missions were necessarily involved in house-to-house firefights, and some were even distant outside of the city, like the train station, and Jolan Park. With the procedural architecture in mind, while t...

Re: Reloads, round management, and weapon malfunction
Myself Id love to have that in the game it would definitely make it more intense especially in coop Im just imagining yelling to my friends to come save me because my m16 jammed, or even in single player it would make your AI teammates even more helpful because they can cover your ass while you fix...

Re: Reloads, round management, and weapon malfunction
We know this game won't be a complete one-to-one recreation of what exactly the Marines and Soldiers did in Fallujah, people might (will) play the missions a lot less carelessly than those who already are familiar with tactical shooters, or those with experience in actual combat. It needs to punish ...

Re: Out of ammo/taking weapons
I highly highly doubt that refill stations would be a thing in this supposed to be realistic tactical shooter. As for weapon pickups I think that may be viable, regarding the whole limited ammo situation. But that's not a very marine like thing to do.

I feel like preordering can absolutely minimize the risk of cancellation, and almost certainly guarantee a smooth sailing release. I'm all for it.
