Re: Question on ROE
They word it to cover thier ass. Research the Marine that shot an injured Iraq in a Mosque and was not charged with anything(CNN was there and recorded it). No one was charged with any war crime. If you think we killed 600-800 civilians, do you not think some of us would have been charged with war c...

Re: Question on ROE
This was 2-2 Infantry and F Troop, 4th Cavalry(BRT) getting our briefing before we pushed in. People need to come to terms Fallujah was ugly and you did anything to make sure you and your brothers came home. Them lifting the ROE saved hundreds of US lives.

Re: Question on ROE
No. My orders were, I could engage anyone. If a mom was walking her 3 yr old down the street, I could kill both and no questions would be asked. There was no ROE.

Re: Game mechanics about civilians
Should not be mission failure. ROE was lifted and we had permission to kill everyone. If this was a war crime, I know a lot of us would be in jail then.

Re: Missing small detail from the trailer.
Being an Army veteran that was in Operation Phantom Fury. We did not wear our stupid eye wear nor did any enforce it. As a NCO, I never made my soldiers wear it. When you are getting if you are lucky a hour of sleep per day for a month and clear roughly 500 houses in 24 days. Eye pro is not a concern.

Question on ROE
I know the Army had no ROE in Operation Phantom Fury. We had a greenlight to kill everyone. I thought the Marines had thier ROE lifted also. With that being said, why would the video game end if you kill anyone that is not on the US side? It was not a war crime or I would be in jail and many more of...

Re: A question about tone
White Phosphorus was only used before we assaulted the city. No reason for it to be in the video game besides if there is a mission of the assault into the city. I know on the Army side that is when CSM Faulkenberg was killed by a sniper on the Army main assault into Fallujah.

Re: Not sure how I feel
Any plans on doing a DLC on the Army point of view? Like contacting SSG Bell that was awarded the MOH for Operation Phantom Fury? I'll be honest, still not sure how I feel. I hate seeing things get canceled, but when it is some Gold Star Families wanting it banned, makes me rethink things. Hits home...

Not sure how I feel
As a Veteran of Operation Phantom Fury, I'm not sure how I feel about this game. I get some of us want to tell our stories, but I know this will hurt others. I also understand civilians want to feel what war is, but nothing can do that unless you go to war and fight. I also have to respect the Gold ...
