Same here. There are a couple more games in development my friends and I are excited about but SDiF is at the top of that list. .....we'll have to wait longer for some since we're on PS5.StevieC 1872 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 10, 2022 12:29 pm I’ve not looked forward to a game like this in a very long time. Co-op is a great mode in games like this.

Re: Buzzing For This!
1. Is the concept of the game similar to Operation Flashpoint? As someone really familiar with BI's OPF, ARMA and their latest release Reforger, I would say they are more sandbox milsims. SDiF certainly has the hardcore element(s) but I don't think you could really compare them beyond some general ...

Re: How Many Procedural Architecture Presets?
This was partially addressed in the following thread: https://forums.sixdays.com/main/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=457 Like you, I wondered just how "deep" the procedural mechanic will go for the same reasons (e.g. familiarity and predictability). I'm hoping the assets used in the game are man...

Re: MOD Support
I recall Amper responded recently to another post that had several questions including one regarding mod support. Here was the response:
"No plans for mod support, but it's noted as a community suggestion."

Re: New memeber and a question
Right, don't make the same mistakes that Insurgency Sandstorm made. There is just no chance in hell I'm playing with randoms here. .....exactly. Forced matchmaking absolutely ruined co-op in that game as well as the strict requirement to have a full team. .....so unless you have 5 (IIRC) friends on...

Re: New memeber and a question
For me and my friends, it's all about the co-op so I'm really glad that and SP are their focus for launch. The only thing that could put a wrench in it all is if they force matchmaking with randoms vs. allowing players to chose just to play with friends.

Re: A few questions out of curiosity.
Like the OP, this mechanic (procedural generation) is of great interest to me for one big reason. .....replayability. This is a big selling point for folks like myself and my friends. Unfortunately, games like Insurgency Sandstrom (in relation to coop) becomes very predictable not only because of th...

Re: 3rd Person and First person point of view
Tom Clancy Rainbow Six Vegas 2 had one of the best systems in my opinion. You were first person unless you went into cover and then it switched to third. Haven't seen it done since then. I think it worked really well and I think that could be an interesting move here. Just my thoughts. Wouldn't be ...

Re: Next SITREP
I was thinking that maybe the best thing they can do IMHO is release it in late 2023 since there isn't the annual Call of Duty game and it won't be eclipsed and that means more sales. But some people might prefer it to play it now, even me. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. IMHO opinion, CoD ...

Re: SITREP: Insurgent Weapons
I feel it should all depend when you use enemy weapons, whether it's for fun, when you expended all available ammo with your already equipped primary, or if you were to clear weapons cache from enemy use (which just got confirmed above as I'm typing this). There is some practicality to confiscating...
