For Marines, yes pretty much all have 2 grenades because we were issued 2 grenade pouches. And depending on the mission we might have been given more, in which case you can put them in your cargo pants pocket or in a day pack.

To me the main character in a FPS is the weapon so to blur it would be the equivalent of blurring the main character in a movie...
