Originally, we were going to focus mostly on 3/1 because this is where a lot of our original stories came from. Thanks for asking this. Insurgents can (and will) surrender. We haven’t yet decided whether players can call for them to surrender.

Will it be possible to adjust the volume of the gun sounds, Amper? Having experienced hearing damage is kinda tiresome, a slider where separate gun sounds to other sfx would be similar to wearing Peltor Comtacs, where you can hear your surroundings but gun shots decibels are barely audible. Most of the time, friendly AI fireteam members can become incapacitated at any time, depending on your actions as fireteam leader.
